Ethanol is a renewable, environmentally clean fuel source. Ethanol, also referred to as ethyl alcohol or grain alcohol, is a clear, colorless liquid produced by the fermentation of sugars found in grains and other biomass that contain substantial amounts of sugar or materials that can be converted into sugar. ABE utilizes corn as our feedstock for the production of ethanol. The starch in the corn is fermented into sugar, which is then fermented into alcohol.

ABE produces approximately 85 million gallons of ethanol annually on a consolidated basis.

Our ethanol is marketed through an outside marketer.
